Today, Copper Nickel Wire in India & abroad is in high demand across a wide variety of industries, from construction to medical, catering to industrial equipment. Cuni Wire has an Elastic Modulus (C71500 annealed) of 22000 ksi (152 GPa). The Poisson’s Ratio of Cupro Nickel Wire (C71500 annealed) is 0.325. For copper nickel welding electrodes, the most common welding technique applicable is SMAW (shielded metal arc), also known as MMA (manual metal arc). Copper-Nickel Tin Alloy Wire offers superb resistance to various kinds of corrosives. They are the first choice wires in merchant ships, condensers, seawater pipework, floating production storage, heat exchangers and offloading vessels. The Thermal Expansion Co-efficient of Cuni 90/10 Tig Wire (@20-300°C/68-572°F) is 9.00 µin/in °F (16.2 µm/m °C). The Machinability of Copper Nickel Alloy Wire (based on free-cutting brass = 100) is 20.
In 90/10 Copper Nickel Wire, there are four processes that need to be taken into consideration and these are soldering, mechanical couplings, welding and brazing. Copper Nickel Filler Wire has a Shear Modulus (C71500 annealed) of 8300 ksi (57.2 GPa). Copper Nickel Wire mesh has a chemical composition of Cu 71.25-76.5, Fe ≤ 0.20, Pb ≤0.050, Mn ≤ 1.0, Ni 23.5-26.5 and Zn ≤ 1.0. 70/30 Cuni Wire has a Thermal Conductivity of 32.9 W/mK (0.0900 BTU in/hr.ft². °F). When it comes to Copper Nickel Titanium Wire, there are no partitioning and cut pieces in the length of the wire. Such wire types are used to a great extent in offshore fire water systems, power plants and desalination. Not only are wires made from copper nickel stronger than copper, but they also have excellent formability, toughness and ductility. These Copper Nickel Welding Wire can retain their ductility and mechanical strength even at cryogenic temperatures.
